Regular Share Savings Account

An initial minimum deposit of $5 is required to become a member, which reflects your share of the CPS IBEW Federal Credit Union in San Antonio. Dividends are credited to your account monthly.

Easy Saver Program

When you make a debit card purchase, the total cost is rounded to the nearest dollar, and the difference is deposited in your savings account. For example:

  • You pay $3.78 for your coffee with your debit card

  • The purchase is rounded to $4

  • The extra $0.22 is deposited in your Savings Account

You can choose for your change to be deposited into your Regular Savings or Christmas Club Account.

Plan ahead for holiday shopping with our Christmas Club Account

What's your favorite way to save for the holidays? Many of us tend to overspend and go into debt during the holidays. Make it a goal this year to build a budget and start a savings plan well in advance. Look at what our Christmas Club Account offers:

  • Helps you set money aside to plan ahead for holiday shopping and avoid overspending

  • Makes saving easy with payroll deduction or auto transfer to your account

  • $0 monthly fees

  • Higher interest rate than traditional savings

  • First business day in November, Christmas Club funds are transferred into your primary Share Account

  • A Primary Share Account is required to open a Christmas Club Account

  • Existing members can come into the Credit Union to open a Christmas Club Account

  • New members need a photo ID (valid TX DL, ID, or passport) and SS card

  • $5 required to open account for new and existing members

Note: $10 fee per withdrawal if money is withdrawn earlier than release date.

Money Market Account

Our interest-bearing Money Market Account has a required minimum balance of $2,500. Dividends will be compounded every month and credited to your account monthly. You can make up to six withdrawals or transfers per month. Call or come by and let us assist you in opening your Money Market Account today.
